Hoosier Accounts Service

In-House Debt Collection Legal Support Department

It is a scenario everyone wants to avoid, but occasionally a past due account will become litigated and will require legal expertise. When this happens, Hoosier Accounts Service calls upon our in-house legal support department to work with our independent attorney who will review and prepare the account and to monitor it during litigation. On accounts our attorney reviews and deems feasible for suit, and after your approval, we will advance all court costs. Our modern debt collection technology allows our legal support department to keep a close eye on these accounts throughout the legal process.

In addition to our modern technology, our legal support department works with an independent attorney who has been in the debt collection field for over 25 years. This attorney is enrolled in the Members' Attorney Program (MAP) to keep up-to-date with debt collection and related laws. Our lawyer also attends seminars, researches court cases, and follows up on all debt collection law changes, such as HIPAA laws and regulations concerning Protected Health Information (PHI), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

Our in-house legal support department is located in Evansville Indiana, but we also have legal representation in Illinois and Kentucky.

Our debt collection services are available in the states of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. We are located in Evansville, Indiana, but we are licensed and bonded for collections in Indiana and Illinois (Kentucky does not require a license at this time). In the state of Tennessee this collection agency is licensed by the Collection Service Board of the Department of Commerce and Insurance.
